Friendly Summary
We want you to get real value from On-Call Board Prep. We understand it’s not for everyone, and we do not want to profit if you decide not to use it. Our goal is to contribute more than we take away.
That said, we have real costs, we protect our proprietary technology, and as a new, innovative application we need clear limits on refunds.
- If you try it and quickly decide it’s not for you, we’ll refund almost all of what you paid.
- If you were charged for one month before you remembered to cancel, we will likely make you whole for that month.
- Simply maintaining an account incurs costs for us, so we can’t refund unlimited use.

- Monthly — not for you (early): If you decide within your first three months that it’s not for you, cancel anytime. We refund up to one month of the most recent cycle, prorated for unused time. Please request within 30 days of your latest billing date.
- Monthly — forgot to cancel: We can refund the most recent month only, prorated for unused time. Earlier months are not refunded.
- Upfront (e.g., annual) — cancel within 1 month: Refund equals the amount you paid minus one month and the days since purchase, calculated at the discounted upfront rate.
- Upfront — cancel after 1 month: No refund.
- One‑off products: Session packs, study guides, and stem prep books are non‑refundable.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of subscriptions and upfront (prepaid) plans for On-Call Board Prep provided by ON CALL LABS LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy does not limit any non‑waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
Definitions
- "Monthly Subscription" means a recurring, month‑to‑month subscription billed each billing cycle.
- "Upfront Plan" means a prepaid, fixed‑term plan (e.g., annual) purchased at a discounted rate (currently 15% off the equivalent monthly rate when paid upfront).
- For calculation purposes, "month" means 30 days and "year" means 365 days unless otherwise required by law.
Monthly Subscriptions
- Upon cancellation, we will refund up to one month of unused credit from your most recent billing cycle.
- We do not refund prior cycles or past payments made due to a failure to cancel, other than the most recent cycle.
- The refund for the most recent cycle, if any, is prorated for the unused portion of that cycle as of the date you cancel.
- Eligibility window: Refunds for Monthly Subscriptions are available only during the first three (3) months after your initial subscription purchase (the "Eligibility Period"). If you have been subscribed for three months or longer, no refunds are available.
- Request timing: To obtain a refund for the most recent billing cycle, you must submit your request within thirty (30) days of that cycle’s billing date.
Upfront (Prepaid) Plans
- If you cancel within the first month after your initial upfront payment, your refund equals the total amount you paid minus: (a) one month, and (b) the number of days elapsed from your initial payment until your cancellation date. Proration is based on the discounted upfront rate.
- No refunds are issued for upfront plans if you cancel more than one month after the initial upfront payment.
- Example: If you paid for one year upfront and cancel 28 days after payment, your refund equals your upfront payment amount multiplied by the fraction of the term remaining after subtracting one month and 28 days (i.e., one year minus one month minus 28 days), valued at the discounted upfront rate.
How to Cancel
- Go to your Account page while signed in and select Cancel subscription.
- You will be redirected to Stripe’s customer portal to complete cancellation. Stripe may ask you to provide your email; they will send a message so you can confirm, sign in, and finish cancellation.
- Stripe’s flow is subject to change. We will keep a clearly visible Cancel subscription button on your Account page that links to the current Stripe process.

How Refunds Are Issued
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary by provider.
- To request a refund, email support@oncallboardprep.com from the account email associated with your purchase and include your cancellation date.
Exclusions
- Session pack purchases and other one‑off products (for example, study guides or stem prep books) are non‑refundable.
- We may decline or limit refunds in cases of abuse, misuse, fraud, or material breach of our Terms.
- Purchases made through third‑party platforms or marketplaces are subject to the refund terms of those platforms.
Where required by law, you may have additional rights (including mandatory cooling‑off periods or statutory cancellation rights). Nothing in this policy is intended to limit such rights.
